Radial Arm Saw Cabinet

From ShopNotes magazine Vol 3, Issue 16 (July 1994). Finally, a cabinet that makes my radial arm saw useful and accurate. It's now always ready when needed. It features an 8 foot top to handle long boards comfortably, cutoff and scrap storage underneath, and a drawer for wrenches and assessories. I used 3/4" paint grade maple veneer plywood for construction. The dark surfaces are masonite hardboard, smooth both sides.

Front view. Tool storage drawer and scrap box in center base. Left end view. Small plywood panel storage.
Right end view. Storage for useable cutoffs.
